I ain’t gonna lie I’ve barely listened to it since it dropped. I like it though. Just waaaaay too much music out right now. Nas and Pusha still getting a lot of play though.

Honestly I'm a big Jay fan and I didn't like this project. It felt just a little too try hard. Jay still is nice and Bey sounded good...I really just wasn't feeling it. It sounded like pandering a few too many times. Something I hate.

Nobody asked for it.
It wasn't promoted.

They just dropped it. Because there was nothing groundbreaking about it, the streets treated it accordingly.


In a way, it was a disrespect to the fans, because both Beyoncé and Jay Z assume they don't have to work in order to retain fans. They feel like they're above normal marketing and promotion.
They can do what they want, which is cool. But don't expect people to support your music mindlessly.

People responded initially because it was new. That's to be expected though. Jay Z really don't care about the art anymore. He's on some other shyt now. As he should by the way.
