So Bad, It's Good - Television Tropes & Idioms
Ever watch something that's so bad once you get over the fact that its not a quality work you actually enjoy it for what it is and even what it isn't? I love stuff like this. to me the quintessential example is Gone in 60 Seconds. its a cheesy, corny, predictable, cliche train wreck of a movie and i loved every minute of it.

matter of fact if there was a king of this type of thing Nick Cage would be him. Next and the Sorcerer's Apprentice are also good picks. anybody got any other examples?

Babylon 5 season 1. It's :smh: quality until you get to seasons 2, 3, and 4 and that's when the payoff pays off and you come to understand what was actually happening in season 1.

I watch things in hopes that they'll get better. American Dad, for example, paid off in that way. Season 1 was :scusthov: but around half of season 2 it got better.

I don't how many of you guys grew up in the 90s, but one of the shows I used to watch as a kid was called Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad. It was one of the 8,000 Power Rangers ripoffs, but it was actually the best. The show is fukking ridiculous, and you can tell they have no budget, but it has a charm to it that makes it so memorable.

Also, for any TSC brehs in here, I'd say WWE Saturday Morning Slam fit this category until they just OD'd on the fukkery and let Daniel Bryan go crazy on commentary. :bryan:
