The video is just messed up & plain sketchy...... Seeing a plane you were just in tumbling through the air with only one wing? My first reaction to that is awesome... particularly the landing at the end. But that could just be the pilot in me because that video proves planes don't just fall out of the sky if something goes wrong like a lot of people seem to think... unless of course they lose an entire wing.
No doubt that video will be shown in flight schools around the country for a while.....

In hindsight....the two Pilots should always be looking for other air traffic & maintain a visual on all aircraft in their area. I think this geeza was distracted and/or just didn't notice the other aircraft coming up from below him & to his right. Although, it would be difficult, if not impossible, to see from his vantage point and the other aircraft would have had an equally difficult time seeing the plane above and behind to the pilot's left. The wing would probably make it impossible for him to have seen the other plane. In either case, they both should have been aware that there was another aircraft in the area and had identified it visually long before they got that close

I was looking for that one little detail that makes the story more reasonable. They were all skydivers.
