Going back to listening to this Sting track…

I like it for what it is.

Which just confirms to me that the album is going to be an ok listen for what it is. Which, sadly, isn’t what we wanted.

But I’m ok with that and will just enjoy it as it is.

It‘s disappointing though, for sure.

Best case scenario; they see the reactions and release the stuff they recorded that fits expectation a little more.

This is really what it comes down to.

Dre releases so little music that when it comes time for him to drop, we really just want to hear Dre be the Dre we all knew and loved.

If he dropped more music, we'd be okay with him experimenting and going left but when nikkas gotta wait 5-10-15 years for some shyt, you better come correct.

Ironically it’s because we remember Dre we expect certain things.

Maybe if we forget about him again?

It’s on a major label which they will milk the life out of the album. This shyt is gonna be mid, the songs that came out are weak and even the other songs might not even save it from being wack.
With the number of trash tracks that are already out, it's definitely over tbh, it will be at best a 7/10 project if all the other tracks are great
