he makes writin' a song (whether it's a hit song or an underrated gem) sound so easy; it's like he's just havin' a conversation or just talkin' in his songs

all them hits he wrote for his group the miracles, other motown artist and then for himself

i now got him above curits mayfield, stevie wonder, bob dylan, sly stone, bruce springsteen, prince etc.. he's number 1 imo
