Delete this when the Ligginverse version is posted :wow:

This week’s SmackDown kicks off with The Miz and MizTV. He brings out Kane, Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. They try to convince Bryan he’s not the weakest link but he argues with them like on RAW.

Teddy Long comes out and makes Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton vs. The Shield later on.

* Curtis Axel defeated Chris Jericho. CM Punk’s music started playing in the match and this distracted Jericho, allowing Axel to get the roll-up.

A promo for The Wyatt Family airs. Brodus Clay and Tensai were watching backstage and say Bray Wyatt is creepy.

Ryback challenges Kane backstage to a match later tonight.

* Heath Slater vs. Alberto Del Rio never happens as 3MB jump him before the bell. Ricardo Rodriguez helps Del Rio fight back. Dolph Ziggler appears on the big screen via satellite and announces he will be at RAW to see Del Rio.

* Kane defeated Ryback by DQ after Ryback put Kane through a table.

A promo for the 20th anniversary of RAW aired.

Damien Sandow comes out for a chess game with his super computer. Sheamus interrupts and Brogue Kicks the computer. Sandow goes nuts on Sheamus and beats him down before leaving.

* Fandango defeated Zack Ryder.

They show a video package looking at Ryback’s destruction.

Backstage segment with Kaitlyn and Natalya. The secret admirer is going to be revealed on Monday.

* Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton defeated Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns via DQ. The Shield was super over coming out. Bryan accidentally kicked Orton. Ambrose interfered, prompting the DQ. After the match. Orton RKOd Bryan and just stood there like CM Punk did after attacking Rock at Raw 1000. A lot of boos for Orton, it looks like Orton is actually turning heel.

More detailed spoilers (can't copy/paste for some reason)

These spoilers have achieved the impossible. They've stirred within me a slight, albeit near imperceptible, interest in Randy Orton :hmmm:

It's gonna be interesting if they actually go with a heel Orton vs face Bryan.

Blandy doesn't need to win the feud as he's already one of their main guys regardless of how he's booked, but it's been a long ass time since he came out the winner of meaningful angle and they tend to establish their new heels with wins.

On the other hand you have a red hot Bryan who can elevate himself greatly and be their n°2 face going into Summerslam.

I guess they could be planning Orton vs Cena or Bryan vs Ziggler for August...or maybe both :leon:

It all depends on what they really want to do with Orton at this point. Are they turning him heel just to use him as fodder? Or are they actually going to do something with him after this feud?

If they do go with the Bryan/Orton feud, Bryan really doesn't need to *beat* Orton right away. As long as he's getting wins against other guys, I'd say it would be fine to have Orton get the drop on him in the first months of the feud in a slightly dirty manner (in a way that makes Bryan look good and protects him, since he's going to get pushed out of this hopefully, but also builds Orton as a heel). Therefore, when Bryan taps him (and he should TAP him; I can't remember the last time Orton actually tapped to somebody) at, say, SummerSlam, it feels like a big moment, and can catapult Bryan to bigger and better things.

I'm just hoping to see a well booked, stretched out angle and great matches out of this. Besides, Orton's much better as a heel anyway.
