took me a few days to get around to watching it because i knew it'd be a tough watch but i just finished watching this

man, Questlove did right by SLY and really honored him and gave him his flowers with this documentary.

i shed a few tears watching this one. :mjcry:

so good to finally see SLY getting his flowers and respect after years and years of no real documentary that really speaks on his story

SLY is the definition of a true innovator, pioneer and genius.

thank you, SLY. for all that you've given us and society as a whole.

Watched it over the weekend, right now Quest is 2 for 2 with the Hulu docs. Also glad to see D in this giving his commentary. Jazzy Jeff let it slip last week that he's coming with new music.

Good to hear, bruh

yeah, he's in his element right now with these docs

i ain't recognize D at first. i was like, "wait a minute, is that really D'angelo?!" then i saw his name pop and was like, "damn, it is" lol

oh yeah? nice, that's what's up. i was just thinking the other day, it's been a decade now since D's last album, it's about time for a new one
