Its got the artsy cinematography but its more g than the trailer lets on. Plus people are calling the black humor coen esque.Im always down for a good Western (watching Appaloosa right now), and Fassbender is usually a no doubt great performance. From the trailer though, I'd just be worried this is some mildly hipsterish take on the genre.
from who breh? its at 87%. Audiences like it slightly less from what I've seen but its only 84 min long which i like.Haven't seen it. Saw a couple disheartening reviews that blunted my anticipation.
I found it elsewhereIts on vod and elsewhere![]()

I'm gonna watch it later. You better not be hyping this up like you did Interstellar![]()

Breh u made a thread about a movie about Rams..Looks really boring
brehshyt was meh. John Maclean has a bright future ahead of him as a writer because there's a bunch of stuff here that is great (and has a very Cormac McCarthy feel), but goddamn if it doesn't take 10 minutes of absolute boredom to get to every single one of those moments. Hell, the first truly good scene (the store) doesn't happen until like 15 minutes into it. And no matter how great that scene by itself is, the journey there was already putting me to sleep. And the movie just never finds its flow with incredibly boring scenes that basically are filler until the movie gets to another in itself brilliantly conducted moment.
I liked the ending a lot though, very, very good stuff, although the "pouring salt into the wound" part was a bit too on the nose. Too bad the preceding 65 minutes only has a total of maybe 20 minutes or so that are actually worth a damn.
