This. Although I still would have watched. I grew up having black shows on TV and now they seem rare. I try to stream whatever I can (if it actually counts for anything), but they didn't do the show/cast any favors with inconsistent filming.

Time flies. 2014?? Didn't realize it'd been 8 years already since the debut. Or dude was up there in age with how he's looking now.

I enjoyed the first season very much but i lost track of the show afterwards. Didn't know they went to a season 3 or with some of the issues yall have mentioned with it

That first season of Black Jesus was awesome. I know ton of Black Christians who were rocking with the show.

First season was a great, 2nd season was good but they kind of lost me on the 3rd. Show wasn’t gonna be the same without John Witherspoon and Charlie Murphy tbh
