I can believe it.
only 2 folks I can think of that prolly earned more from mixtapes is DJ Drama and 50 Cent.
Destiny child babble nikka had a whole crib in scenic wood lol@shopthatwrecks would yo care to "enlighten" us on the claims made, that he was once beoke and sleeping on an ex-girlfriend's couch in the 2000s.
He named his debut major label album "Already Platinum" and always said he makes more money than most artists on a major.
I'm saying. People talk all that shyt but Slim aint lying. Might not like how he saying it but the hustle was and still is real. He owns a lot of property and businesses and was eating off mixtapes in the late 90s. I definitely believe him. He's not lying. I believe him and seen it

Edit:
Going through this thread I see a lot of yall have reading comprehension problems or didn't listen/watch the video. Yall naming Gucci, Curren$y, and Drama but failing to realize they put those mixtapes out for free. Slim and Swishahouse didn't give shyt away for free and sold every copy of the mixtapes they were releasing. A lot of yall commenting just started listen to hip hop when Kanye came around and don't even know the history of Texas rap/hustle from the 90s and still going on to this day. Watch and learn.
He was on that Beyonce single when she was trying to jump on the Houston wave around 05Outside of 3 kings, and like a boss I don’t see how slim stayed relevant tbh
