Where did this word come from cause figi means face in Haitian Creole and the slang term “aiming at his figi” means aiming at his face/headshot.


This a coincidence or is this Haitian term that just sounds nice and became popular?

All these guys are from central and southern BK where Haitians run in Canarsie flatlands Flatbush etc. many of them are West Indian by descent or birth. I know Sleepy Hallow was born in Jamaica, Sheff is Trini, Rowdy and Bobby is Jamaican, Pop was Panamanian etc.

When they say figi they know what it means

I also see NYC rappers using more Jamaican Patois casually which used to be strictly a BK Caribbean American thing
