Those are some of my favorites, it’s hard to rank all of his projects because he has so many

1. Cloud 9
2. All the Brillaint Things
3. Music for my Friends

But all the brilliant things is going to age like a classic man. Like i can imagine we have a ‘renaissance’ and the next generation goes back to appreciate underground works and that will be one of em. It’s very unique bc it’s a time capsule of sorts it’s talking about gentrification. NY in particular, and how the culture is dying. I could see in 10, 15 years when most of the culture is watered down that project will be looked back as the soundtrack for it…if it could just get a proper spotlight

I can’t because they all are good and on the same level. If I name one and think of another it’s like wait a minute.

My most listened to was

A Dream Deferred
Easy Truth
Music For My Friends

But

Salvation
Live from the Tape Deck
All the Brilliant Things

Can all be considered better

He has NO wack project

also don’t forget mixtapes like Band Practice and Theo vs JJ

I was about to do the mixtapes but he has so many, some I haven't even heard before (I.E. The Cities Favorite..... Corner Store Classic will always be my favorite though )

It's not wack but I didn't like In Celebration Of Us, that album just didn't click for me.

I wonder what Keep Me Company is going to be all about, hopefully that album isn't going to be a sign that he's about to retire I know in the last few years he's been hinting that he's getting ready to hang it up, that was the main reason why he got into the restaurant business a few years back (Skyzoo had a small Black Owned restaurant called The Burger Bistro Atlanta in Douglasville Ga back in 2022, it only lasted roughly 7 months)

I couldn’t get in to Celebration either, it felt average. Wasn’t wack at all, just average, some of his projects had more grit, some more gloss, that one was balanced but in between.

I hate how Retropolitan starts with about a 2 plus minute delay to get to the music. After that it takes off and goes hard.
