In honor of the recent 20th anniversary of Jay Z’s debut albumReasonable Doubt, Genius brings in Skyzoo to add a third chapter to Jay’s two part “Friend or Foe” narrative. Sky picks up the story 20 years after the events of Jay’s song from the perspective of the orphaned child of the yardie Jay plugged in “Friend or Foe ’98”. Because he used this storytelling device, he ends up taking some good-natured shots at Jay, which makes this even more of an interesting listen.
