i have the first skylanders....not sure if they improved with Giants....but i felt it was to easy and they didn't have difficulty settings, having to buy characters, which may be cool in the beginning wears off fast...and there was no on line co-op or vs....

if you buying to play with your kids or girl maybe, but personally i'd get epic mickey 2 instead which is 2 players as well and probably a better game overall...:yeshrug:

It's clearly for kids...neat premise, some nice quest finding elements and the buying new characters is really cool for youngsters. My nephew is in 4th grade and he only picks it up when there's a second player around to show off the cool changing characters thing...my niece is in 1st and she plays the hell out of it.

Giants has Easy/Medium/Hard/Kaos difficulty, you have to beat the game to unlock Kaos difficulty, which does get pretty tough.

I've always loved dungeon crawlers and always loved games where you can upgrade your characters so this game's near perfect for me, shyt I probably would've tried a new spyro game anyways so it's great to actually choose who I want to play as
