Mechanics & Farmers for one. It’s still around but would probably be bigger. Negro Baseball league; probably would’ve changed its name and there would be more American black folks playing ball.

What choice did they have? Many of our towns still didn't have nothing and instead of the scraps of what white people didn't want, we had an option.

I understand in some places, things were better for Blacks but throughout the South, most Blacks were living in much worse situations in the 40s than the 70s. After that, I can't say. Post 84', Black communities have been in disarray
