Police: Woman asleep in vehicle where 25 pounds of pot found - Longview News-Journal

According to police, Longview officers on patrol in the Mobberly Avenue/Level Street area around 4:30 Sunday morning noticed a silver car parked in the grass near the corner of the intersection. The car’s engine was still running and the driver, identified as 21-year-old Destinee Jeffery, was asleep at the wheel, police said.

Officers also noticed a baby bottle nipple with a small amount of a green liquid believed to be liquid codeine, so they arrested Jeffery and began to search the vehicle, according to police. Officers found a small bag with numerous pills believed to ecstasy or MDMA, and they also found a brick of marijuana weighing about 25 pounds in the trunk of Jeffery’s car, police said.
