So I decided to watch some old Pancrase and realize this shyt was ahead of it's time with what wrestling is slowly becoming. With that being said...
Why don't promotions go for the Pancrase route as far as wrestling is concerned? Think about it. Wrestlers trying to do the whole Strong style/Puro/MMA shyt. It would make sense if wrestling goes Hybrid and legit shoot on each other. Sure the Brawl For All ruin that idea but it would bring back the core fanbase that went towards MMA and fill butts into those seats which is always a good thing for business. Plus the matches won't be pre determined since it's all athletics with some wrestling fukkery. Paul Heyman seen the shyt ages ago and actually wanted to bring that style to ECW. Now look where the industry is at now., Bottom line, there needs to be a change and with wrestling being all kick boot and strikes...fukk it go full Suzuki

Because playing monkey see with MMA lead to the Japanese wrestling industry collapsing to an insane degree. If you think the American industry was hurt/is hurting the realities of Japan's fall off would give you a heart attack, and they STILL haven't recovered despite trending upwards for now almost a decade.

To be fair, the entire MMA industry in Japan collapsed as well because of the downfall of PRIDE. I feel you on this statement, but on the real the whole MMA shyt is becoming a commodity to wrestling in general to the point folks are rocking kick pads and mouthguards. Like this is a fake sport with strong consequences, yet it's suppose to be a big thing in sports sites like Bleacher and ESPN. Might as well go on the deep end since it's slowly moving away from it's roots that made wrestling well...wrestling.

I don't think going full Pancrase would work out. Wrestling fans/Americans do not have the patience to watch grappling. But I do agree...there's a lot of elements from fighting they can take into the wrestling world.
