Even though there's not a lot of black people in tech. If you don't want to get left behind by the 4th industrial revolution, you can at least invest in the 4th industrial revolution. Be on the look out for tech companies that are working on the following:

1) advanced AI (uses deep learning ,machine learning etc.)
-big data analytics using advanced AI
-natural language processing
-voice interfaces and chat bots (alexa etc)
-computer vision and facial recognition
2) 5g and 6g to connect the devices. lower latency
3) ioT devices and platforms
-wearable techs
-edge and cloud computing
4) blockchain tech
5)extended reality/virtual reality
-digital twins (modeling virtual: that is tweak an object in space w/o original)
6) robotics
-smoother due to low latency from 5g
7) genomics and gene editing
-CRSPR
8) Drones logistics
-supply chain and transportation
-Amazon already starting to deliver with drones
9) cybersecurity
-(ai to automate attacks and countering it)
10) quantum computing
11) robotic process automation
-( Robot uses tools to watch us automate a process then take over and do it and improve).
12) Advanced 3d printing

edit: for anyone wondering where I got this list? I was reading a book worth 4k. If a book is that expensive, it's usually because it contains important info.

To put it into perspective, within the next 5 years cities will start to connect devices together via 5g. This is known as ioT. For example your fridge will be able to talk with other appliances in your home via an ioT platform. Now imagine this on a larger scale.
At the same time, these devices will send data to ioT platforms for analytics. The ioT platforms will use advanced AI to analyze that data.
