I saw the old "hottest pepper in the world" at my grocery store this month. Called the Trinidad Scorpion. There's a few breeds, the Butch T and the Moruga.
Not sure which breed this is

Hottest fresh pepper I've tried was a Bhut Jolokia (Ghost) pepper. shyt was so fukking hot!
