With some black women I know personally they just get tired of the superthug/superpimp image and personality. They want a man to take care of them and not one that is just trying to pogo p*ssy all their lives. Calling your woman a ho doesn't help either.
One on particular she was a good friend of mine, she would always take notice on how only "hood" types would approach her and try to get her number, and should she pass they'd get disrespectful and call her berating names. She would always say things like "how does it make me a whore if I reject you, but a 'down ass female' if I accept everyone who comes up to me?" It would shut the people up but that's the problem she noticed in that many of the men she had gotten to know or were approached lean to street values rather than family ones.
She's pro black, so she doesn't exactly date white men exclusively, but she is very picky with her black men. Think like Common the hip-hop artist. That's the type she goes for.
