Shredder's Daughter Cast In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 has added actress Brittany Ishibashi to its cast as The Shredder’s daughter, Karai.

According to Ninja Turtles lore, Karai was originally Master Splinter’s daughter (before he mutated into a rat), and was then adopted by the Foot Clan and Shredder. The character was originally played by actress Minae Noji in 2014's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.

Ishibashi’s recent roles include Grace And Frankie, Bones and Emily Owens, M.D.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, directed by Dave Green, hits theaters on June 3, 2016.

Yeah apparently there are three different origin stories for splinter... the least popular is him originally being a human who the mutated along with his turtles in the sewer instead of the lab

I remember pre-mutation Splinter being a normal rat in a cage practicing martial arts alongside his master. In the old movie at least.
