Should the Texas Longhorns clean house with their coaches?

Texas basketball lost to Charminade. I thought Rick Barnes should have been fired years ago. Remember that season when they beat UNC at that Jerry's World and they were one of the top teams in College Bball, and Barnes fukked it up

Not to mention Rick Barnes mishandling all of that talent they've recruited: Cory Joseph, Tristian Thompson, Avery Bradley, Shawne Williams, Dexter Pittman, Damian James.

Barnes hasn't reached a final four since 2003. Now, he has had two national players of the year, and he did reach the elite 8 in 2008, but he hasn't done much in years.

And then you have Texas Football

They haven't won the Big 12 since 2009 (where the NCAA arguably cheated Nebraska with that time-clock fiasco).

They've underachieved, haven't had big names, and haven't had any heisman candidates in a longgggggg time. There is only one player I know of who plays at UT and that's David Ash. I don't know who their WRs, RBs, or DBs are.

Mack Brown has had a lot of success at UT (2 NC appearances, 2 heisman finalists), but I think it may be time to bring in some fresh blood.

Keep Barnes he elevated the Texas program with his recruiting alone. He can't coach, but Texas is a football school. At least he has talented rosters that entertain the masses until spring football starts.

Mack needs to retire. The Longhorns own the state of Texas, and stay getting they ass kicked. Vince Young bought him some time, but a change is needed. If they aren't careful, Sumlin might convince more and more of those brothas in Texas to come play in the SEC.
