Seems like the only movies doing well are action or kids flicks. World needs joy right now. Makes sense those kind of films are making money.

Last Duel bombed. King Richard on the way. What’s Gucci gonna do?

Ban Marvel movies from theaters so more people will go see said films.

They shouldn't hold off on making dramas but they should focus on releasing them to streaming services instead of theaters.

Might be a while before we see films of that sort blossom in the box office again. Majority of folks just aren’t trying to dash to the theater and see that right now.

It also sucks to see King Richard struggling and it’s pretty alarming considering it’s a overall hopeful film. As much as I want to believe the HBO Max deal is playing a role into this, recent dramas without dual releases haven’t done all that well either.

I saw what they were trying to do with The Card Counter. :pachaha:Movie was originally marketed as some high stakes, poker thriller when it was actually a dark, introspective slow-burner. Still bombed.
