Mods should generally be impartial, and from what I've seen, a good bit of POTY/WOAT type deals are based on popularity and not predominantly on how great his or her content was.

I've been saying this since the beginning of the coli. WOAT posters shouldn't have thread creation privileges and posters in the red should have to get their new threads approved first.
