Should Michael J. Fox redo his Old Marty scenes from Back to the Future 2 for a Sp.Ed. 2015 release?

Should BTTF actors redo their scenes when they play their older selves?

Where many murders occur
Either just him, or him, Lea Thompson and everyone who did an older version of themselves They can edit it into the original scenes.

Same with BTTF1, Lea, George and Biff can redo themselves at 47 because now they're actually around 47. And Chris Lloyd in the beginning and end. They should do this and make it a Special Edition for the 30th anniversary, to be included with the o.g. versions, obviously.

:mjlol: at no internet or cell phones in BTTF2 . Instead of Marty Jr. coming home to keep texting friends and browsing the web, he watches 10 channels at the same time :what: And when Marty's boss calls, the family just has 1 landline instead of everyone having their own phones :mjlol: :russ: In 1988 when they made this flick, it was already well known in the tech world that computer networking would take over in the future. Yet the BTTF2 scriptwriters were clueless af :smh:

Also, the Marlins need to wear BTTF2 uniforms when they play the cubs next year. Design em based on the logo the scriptwriters thought they'd have.

That's a pretty dope idea :ehh:

But :russ:at you for taking shots at the writers for not predicting the future.

I'd like to see you write about what happens 30 years from now and be remotely accurate :mjlol:

awful idea

the fanboy complaints would be awful enough

people even got pissed off enough at spielberg for touching up ET on the 2002 DVD release.. he fell back and said he'd never alter his films again

i couldn't imagine the nerd outrage if they did this to BTTF :scusthov:

If I was getting paid good bread for it like the BTTF writers were, I'd do my research with tech gurus on what to expect in 2045. Go read 1988 issues of Wired. They said we'd all have PCs that can send pics and messages to each other. And that cell phones would be affordable. BTTF2 coulda at least included that :manny:

You're clutching at straws here to be honest with you.

I don't think the writers got paid to read issues of Wired and make something that is scientifically accurate, rather write a great movie and they wrote a classic. Any sort of qualm you have with the tech they're using is relative, I've never had an issue with it. The technology has nothing to do with the film, we're talking about a car that can go back to the past here. Do you have an issue with that as well or should they have explained that scientifically accurate as well? Stop cherry picking.

Does it look retarded that they painted a vision of the future that isn't perfectly accurate? Yes. Does that take anything away from the film or the story? No.
