Please explain whyI can only speak for myself, but I don’t negotiate with therapists.
I do think I need a journal. My brain is crazy. I think of a million things at once. My mind moves too fast. I bounce from topic to topic. My stream of consciousness is like a Lil Wayne song.It might be better to text only in panic or very anxious moods and write down everything else and hash it out with them weekly or 2x a week but scheduled.
It may be overwhelming for your therapist to be on call 24/7 ( if this is the case) they probably have others who need help as well. He/she may also be slowly moving you into a mode where you can self console instead of being dependent , depending how long you’ve been working together.
