I like Ben Henderson, most of my boys cant stand him but I like the way he fights, he almost had his arm snapped in half and still won against Frank Edgar. He's been on a tear for a little while now, and even though he cant knock people outn hes still mean in the ring.

But everytime I underestimate Nate Diaz he bangs somebody out. Cowboy Cerrone, perfect example. Most people gave him no shot in that fight, cowboy was looking unstoppable at that point, and Nate shows up and destroys him

Current offshore line Nate Diaz +135

I think hes money

the only reason I say no, is because Ben Henderson is impossible to finish....and if this fight goes all 5 rounds, I think Ben wins, because hes going to dominate the wrestling part of the fight

Nate's krytonite (actually both the Diaz brothers) are strong wrestlers

word thats true, if it goes to the ground Nate might be finished, but the same was said for the Cerrone fight and Nate held his own. Stood him back up and snuffed him a rediculous amount of times

I dont think Nate will get finished, but he will lose rounds

Hes even come out and said the same thing, that "I wont win a decision"

mix that with Ben Henderson, whose only been finished once, and is known to be "unsubmittable" these days (gets out of everything)....i dunno

Nates tough as hell, i just dont know if I'd drop a stack on it with that line

i actually think nate wins this fight, bendo is a tough dude tho. i don't see how hendo can take nate down considering how well nate uses his boxing and reach. i got nate winning by UD.

Nates Last 5 losses came against guys who will try to do the same thing Ben Henderson will do...control the wrestling, and win rounds

Rory McDonald
Dong Hyun Kim (these were both at 170)
Gray Maynard
Joe Stevenson
Clay Guida

Mind you, i think Nate Diaz has gotten a lot better since then, and since hes come back down to 155 hes been dominate...i just wouldnt put a shyt load of money on him at +135...if he was a bigger underdog, i would. Trust me...ive given out advice before, and have been dead wrong...this is just how i see it.

Yeah, that's a good bet. The odds will probably get closer during fight time so you should jump at those odds now while you still get some value.

Nate's looked like a beast since he came back to lightweight. People mention the Guida and Stevenson losses, but they were 3+ years ago back when Nate was still a purple or brown belt. Also, Maynard didn't utilize his wrestling at all in their fight, while DHK and Rory were huge 170lb fighters who Nate shouldn't have been fighting in the first place.

Benson has excellent sub defense, but he's never fought anyone with BJJ like Diaz. I think with the fight being 5 rounds, and with how prone Benson is to being submitted, that Nate will eventually catch him during a takedown OR he drops Ben, then gets a guillotine.

Either way it should be an amazing fight.
