I dont think so if Acho is to be believed. According to him they were so mad that Flacco won last year over Damar, that they changed the criteria and said it needs to be someone coming back from injury.

The criteria isnt binding. The AP said they wont reject Darnold votes. Plus keep in mind Burrow and Lamar are legit threats for OPOY too. People likely would reward lamar opoy while they vote Allen for MVP.
If he has two ticket, cash out one, then let the other ride. Assuming this is real, he's gonna let greed get the best of him
