We had a few appearances of younger Luke in Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett. But going forward, if they want to continue to write stories with a younger Luke (younger than he was in the sequels), what would be the best route to go?
1. CGI (honestly, it has gotten good, but I don't know about an entire show with a CGI Luke)
2. Recast (I've heard a lot of talk about Sebastian Stan as a younger Luke)
3. Just avoid using the character outside of short appearances, and just use CGI for those?
4. Maybe do an animated or CGI series with a younger Luke? Then casting wouldn't be an issue.
Personally, although the CGI is good, I wouldn't want a full CGI Luke for an entire show. Recasting might be okay (it was ok with Han Solo I guess), but I wouldn't mind if they just did a good animated show that takes place between Episode 6 and 7.
