Fall-down drunk actor Shia LeBeouf smashed his head against a cell door and pounded on the walls after his arrest for a boozy Broadway meltdown before stunned witnesses, sources say.
The erratic LeBeouf — unshaven and unwashed — was released Friday on his own recognizance after his Midtown Community Court arraignment on charges tied to his bizarre rampage of a night earlier.
While the “Transformers” star declined to discuss his alcohol-fueled antics, prosecutors and police sources spilled stunning new details about LeBeouf’s teary meltdown on the Great White Way.
LeBeouf screamed homophobic remarks at the arresting officer, and berated a security guard working at Studio 54 during the Thursday night performance of “Cabaret.”
“F--- you,” he reportedly screamed at security guard Carlos Ortiz. “This is f---ing bulls---! Do you know my life? Do you know who the f--- I am?”
A criminal complaint said about 10 slack-jawed pedestrians watched as a raging LeBeouf then spit at the security guard shortly before 9 p.m.
The reeling LeBeouf actually fell to the ground while attempting to exit Studio 54 on his own, a source said.
Once in cuffs, a weeping LeBeouf called one officer “a f----t” and told another to “suck his d---,” according to charges read aloud in court. It reportedly took a half-dozen cops to take him into custody.
When they brought LeBeouf to the Midtown North Precinct, he bizarrely did pushups and jabbered non-stop — at one point, officials said, telling an officer, “I’ll end your life.”
He continued spewing obscenities while in custody, and banged his head against the cell door and hammered the walls with his hands, sources said.
While inside the theater, LeBeouf stood in the middle of the performance to “yell loudly at the actors onstage,” the complaint said.
“During the first act he’s getting up and cheering, smoking a cigarette,” said one source. “He’s disturbing the performance of the actors and he’s disturbing the patrons.”
A source told the Daily News that LeBeouf came backstage before the show, where he made lascivious remarks to several actors — and grabbed star Alan Cumming’s backside.
Cumming summed up the night in a deadpan tweet: “Manager last night at intermission: This is your places call and Shia LeBeouf has left the building in handcuffs.”
The 27-year-old actor was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass after his bizarre outburst.
He arrived for the hearing after a night in police custody wearing his T-shirt, scruffy jeans and a pair of crusty construction boots.
He tried unsuccessfully to relace his boots before leaving court, but was chased along by a court officer. Cops routinely take away prisoner’s shoe laces to prevent suicide tries.
His next court appearance was set for July 24.
According to prosecutors, a pair of witnesses identified the actor as the person hauled out of the show at intermission.
LeBeouf bolted from the W. 54th St. courtroom after the short hearing, walking briskly while staring straight ahead. He ignored the questions from reporters walking alongside him for the two blocks to his hotel.
