She got shot again!

One of my younger cousins got shot last night. She got shot a couple of years ago in the chest and side by her daughters fathers girlfriend. She lost a kidney and still breaths kind of shallow. Last night she was in a car with a guy and a car rolled up and shot that their car. She got shot in her pelvic bone and the bullet went into her stomach. We think the bullet was Ment for him. We try and talk to both her and her sister but they just can't seem to stay out of trouble. she's 23 and still kind of small from getting shot the first time. Have any of you ever gone through this with a family member? Particularly a female relative?

Not a female relative, but a male relative. He was in and out of jail, selling dope, and he got stabbed up and shot at a few years back.

Honestly, there's not much you can do when someone gets immersed in the street culture. It's all they do, like a soldier in the military. They like to brag about imaginary stripes and hustling because it has become a source of pride for them. Giving the life up means you wasted years on bullshyt, and some people can't accept that.

Not trying to sound crass, but let her go. She's lost. Just focus on the good people in your family because there are some people who are just hopeless.
