Shaq proving again why he's the weakest link on the show. The audacity to say "Coaching is overrated" when he was getting swept in the playoffs left and right until Phil Jackson came in the picture. Then right after being coached by Pat Riley. Amazing

Athletes having a bigger platform on television and social media is a net negative.

But the 1 positive is that we can dispell this idea that athletes know the game just because they played the game.

A lot of guys are just good at their jobs and never learn the nuances or the bigger picture of their sport.

Shaq and Gilbert Arenas have done so much to prove that professional athletes can be quite foolish.

It really depends. You can be a coach who inherits all the talent in the world… or in the case of the Dallas Cowboys, you can be the owner and devalue the position. That one firing has changed the trajectory of the franchise ever since. They got lucky and won one more Super Bowl with a team Jimmy Johnson help assemble. Ever since then, the owner meddles in coaching affairs, and they haven’t been the same since.
