I'm not sure they made him apologize, usually when it's forced its not that drawn out. It's very possible he wanted to do this himself to take accountability.
Sharpe was out of pocket for the way he was acting. Getting rah rah over some words at a nationally televised basketball gaming and trying to escalate a dust up when you're a high profile sports analyst and HOF athlete isn't a good example when you're supposed to be someone people look up to.
Watched. This ain't a kyrie situation the apology Don't seem forced( but could be) just seems he on some grown man shyt. breh reflected how poor his actions look in hindsight and taking accountability that's grown man shyt. he knew he beared blame for escalation, didn't blame anyone or excuse himself so shout to Shannon more people in life should be bigger instead of doubling down in ignorance.
I don’t necessarily know that anyone “made” him apologize as this is in line with his character and the type of person he is…decent thing to do even tho I felt the grizzlies players were being oversensitive…but shannon is an “OG” and he could’ve easily diffused the situation which he seems to regret not doing…I saw folks complaining in another thread about skip never apologizes…so what…skip is a worm and that speaks to his character and shouldn’t dictate what shannon does
I dunno...This didn't have the typical "If I offended anyone, I'm deeply sorry" disingenuous tone to it. Sounds like Sterling called him up and was like "Bro don't be out in the streets showing your ass like that", and when he saw how foolish he looked on the footage knew he had to make a statement.
This doesn’t sound like a forced apology, just sounds like he got home and realized he a HOF’er 50 something year old man arguing with other Black male athletes while white people egg it on.
Anyone criticizing this brotha on here should change their avi to their actual face, change their user name to their government name and let their employer know that they post on the coli....I bet your tone would be different
