Wasn't even that big of a deal for Shannon to go on a rant, but I'm sure Pat of that was intentional so he'd get clicks.
I've seen Perk call both of them out before on NBA Today for things on First Take on a more serious basis. Shannon was doing the same thing he's crying about on his show to the WNBA pundits that were First Take during the Caitlin Clarke stuff.

Don't believe for a second that this isn't all a promotional stunt. I've already got articles in my news feeds about it and ultimately it amounts to a whole lot of nothing. It's just manufactured drama in-house to get more eyes on everything which is why they called out First Take and not some other show on a rival network when most talking heads were calling for the coach's job.

Man wasn’t even ready with a clapback. Also it seems that Shannon may have been out the studio.. I’m thinking the delay got to him. Dan snuck that in there while Shannon was trying to talk then Shannon heard it. That was kinda elite trolling to be honest. Dan knew he had him one.
