Bout halfway thru judging by these lorestones lighting up. not feeling it like the first one and the first one I just barely liked. how can I put it its like... you cant do the same thing twice with more stuff and expect it to hit the same. and babygirl don't even have the rot building up now so the stakes have never been lower.

& you not telling me she brute forcing these giant men with parries and dodges. In the first game it could be excused like "oh ok those are her inner demons" but some of these enemies are real people now. & she better not smash that slavemaster creh but the writing is on the wall. overall ima push thru it but other than the graphics this is a set back. she not even really mentally ill now she just got a loud inner voice.

and these where's Waldo ass stone faces are being overdone. may as well just leave focus mode on cause there's probably another one coming around the corner. it's looking like a solid 6/10 for me rn.

I haven't played the first 1, but the sound design in this game is crazy. I feel technically this game does a lot of groundbreaking stuff. However, it still feels like a tech demo to me. I think if they were able to mix the combat of their previous games with this. Then they would have a killer game. At the moment the game is an experience when you play with headphones. I think my major issue is I still want to play a video game and the game most likely would've been better if it was a choose your adventure type of game like Detroit, The Quarry, etc.

2 words. Psychonauts 2.
In Psychonauts you didn’t play as the person with issues.

You played as the person fixing them.

Hellblade is a miserable game on purpose. Everything is built to make you feel like shyt while you are playing it.

It’s like a slave movie. Whole point of it is to make you feel bad while playing.
