If the game drops into the low 70s then the "Xbox Tax" is real. The original game has an 81 metacritc score for PS4, and by most accounts HellBlade 2 is as good if not better than the original.
People are saying the only good thing that improved from the first game is graphics. The puzzles are still lame and combat regressed.

Reviews are all over the place but Gamespot and WP didn’t like it. Combat and puzzles are not good
Yeah. I was looking forward to this as I liked the first one, but if it's just the 1st one with fancy presentation, I'm not interested. I was expecting more this time around.

As I keep saying, aye Microsoft WHERE THE FUKK ARE THE GAMES???

No wonder there was very little promotion and no physical release. These cacs are penny pinching

it's so confusing if you're actually controlling this bytch. do I press a button? which button? is this just a cutscene?

game is definitely an 'experience'
This doesn't really sound like much of a game. Sounds like they just wanted to tell a story.

it's a walking simulator and movie game. nothing inherently wrong with that, but it's just confusing in this one when you actually have control

No I didn't play it I just read a few reviews. The ones I read didn't criticize the combats as much as some other reviews from what I'm seeing here.

Reviews make no sense.

As a walking simulator it’s pretty much the best of the best in that genre. 10/10

Compared to other games, there’s no way in hell this should be getting a similar score to stuff like starfield or dragons dogma. Should be a 6/10

What do these review scores even mean anymore :beli:

Microsoft did Ninja Theory dirty - point blank period.
This shyt comes out in a matter of hours and half the people with the system don't know it exists.

Foul to bring them inhouse just to screw them over then probably dismantle and strip the studio for parts/send their facial capture tech to other teams
If you have an Xbox

I'm going to play it and base it on how I feel.
