With Craigslist, hide your e-mail and stress you respond to Text Messages only. That always weeds out the scammers. Worse case scenario is that you get flakey people who back out of the deal when you're trying to set something up.

Check the prices for used PS3s currently going on eBay and your local CL to see what it's going for. Price it too high and no one will respond, too low and you might feel a little ripped off.

Personally, I seen a working PS3 with no games and one controller go for about $100, but most people tend to sell their games and accessories with it to up it to $150 or $200 if they can. It depends on what all you have included in this sale, to be honest.

a ps3 going for 100 is slightly suspect. it's probably been brought back to life or is on it's last legs

That's what I was thinking, but it was the PS3 alone and one controller...if I were in the market, I would have asked for pics and a video to confirm that it was working; but it could have just been someone unknowingly lowballing themselves out of their system just to pay a bill or something.

You can't trust these nikkas to post a video but...you gonna go over they HOUSE?:heh: Bring a gun my friend, and know how to use it!

That's why I can't sell a large item on Craigslist, I would NEVER trust somebody on that site to know where I live and I would never bring an item to their place without at least one of my people and my .45; in fact, I NEVER use my real number on Craigslist. GOOGLE VOICE OR DIE, and no returns because once I give that shyt to you in front of a crowded mall, I'm blocking your number so that you will never hear from me again.:king:

That's the best way to operate on Craigslist, for me at least.

if you are a logical decently thinking man, craigslist is the best place to sell things (you need to weed out your buyers), but depending on your area it might be a hard sell. i know things sold much faster in philly than in minneapolis even if it was more saturated with the same item. people are more likely to pay more in the more active craigslist cities

ebay you will get a buyer at most decent prices. you should look at complete listings and use a cost calculator and list your item on craigslist for above the difference.

^^ That's exactly what they do...EXCEPT in the 'burbs. Only time I've heard of violence on Craigslist in my city is when these retards tell people where they live - and it's only in the hood. Ha.

I only ever see "curb alerts" and the like in the suburbs, and whenever people try to sell their cars or just large items in general, people ALWAYS bring someone else with them. I don't know anyone in my last few years on CL, hood or otherwise, ever suggesting me to fukking come over their house and I've never got or sold a bad product in that time.

OP is gonna get robbed and/or shot picking up items at a person's house. God damn.:russ:
