Look in the mirror and say "I see Africa'"ten times. If you can't do that then it means you hate yourself.
I can take you to Africa and show you black people that look like you. Just because you speak english doesn't make you an american. when they( non black ppl)look at you (without hearing you talk) they see africa.
When you see an Asian person do you say thats an american or do you automatically say to yourself that asian person looks just like the people who come from Korea or China. no matter how long their family has been here.
Embrace who you are. you're a black African. that's what the rest of the world sees you as whether you like it or not and I don't care how long you been in America.
A lot of us rather call ourselves a nikka than African.
The first thing we will say is:
"Don't call me African.i never been there before. and I don't know nothing about Africa but you can call me a nikka tho,thats cool."
That's how mentally fukked up some of us are and we don't even know it.
