So I started this because I thought it was cool or would be interesting... Maybe brutal in a way of Berserk or something


It’s aight, I’m just highly disappointed at how they portrayed Mike Colters character.

Another supposedly arrogant, imbecile, and borderline coward of a character that basically is the comic relief (if that because nothing he says is funny), getting yelled at and scolded by damn near everyone especially his Mexican female partner....


I’m on on episode 4 I think but show had some potential I thought. Now I just cant get passed the blatant bullshyt. Whoever wrote this sounds like he was trying to blend cultures with kung fu, mexican folklore, women rights, and America’s racist history BUT still managed to be racist towards the only black character

After finishing, the story is interesting and not bad, but HIS dialogue is torturous to anyone black.

They purposely made him look weak, idiotic, etc.

Which is crazy when that “one scene” happens in the very beginning made him look like he would be someone more important and a strong black man.

Like I thought they might go the Baki route with his character but they went the Tyrese Fast and Furious comedic relief route except he also lets a Mexican bytch treat him like shyt for 90% of the first season while speaking like he’s from a 70’s blaxploitation movie

I think because of his “anger” and “hatred” after being made an orphan and having no one to really guide it until his “father/master” when he was made an assassin
