Seeing this Star Wars movie has made me rethink watching every trailer that comes out.

It's really starting to ruin the overall movie watching experience. When they drop 2 or 3 trailers with a lot of good parts or pivotal moments, by the time he movie drops they don't really have the same impact.

I watch the star wars trailers many times so by the time I watched the movie those scenes didn't have he same impact than if I would've watched it the first time. I think certain movies should be able to sell themselves on name alone, but at the end of the day, I made the choice to watch them. I felt the same way with AOU as well. I probably wont watch any more Civil War trailers because of this.

:banderas:avoided all trailers, posters, interviews/articles, and imdb

I do that with every movie I know I want to see since The Dark Knight Rises. Might be why I'm more :wow: after seeing some movies than people who been comsuming every bit of media surrounding the film for months

SW wasn't too bad with spoiling shyt..unlike Terminator, Batman v Superman, and stuff.

Although it also may have been that I barely watched any of the SW trailers more than a few times.

That's not what most people did. They dissected all of the trailers watching them 50 times breaking the shot down frame by frame. It really took away from the experience because when they showed the trailer parts it felt like I was watching the trailer.

I watch the first trailer, maybe only the first half of it.

If you watch all the trailers and keep thinking about them, its on you. Not them.

I'm not judging the movie itself, but they spoiled 2 (maybe 3) potential surprises in the trailer already, which they should've saved for the film.

The Doomsday and WW reveal shouldn't have been in the trailer.

Just like how they revealed JC was the new terminator/bad guy.

I stopped watching trailers years ago, in fact I tend to go in blind. I don't even read the plot summary or anything:manny:

Me-"Is it good?"
Friend-"Yea"

That's all I need.
