Brehs I've been thinking about the WWE bringing back Punk so soon to start some static between Paul Heyman and Punk but I had an idea on how they can do this:
At WWE Payback starring Randy Orton - Punk comes back with a live Chicago crowd like
and he beats Jericho, then afterwards he'll shoot looks at Heyman like "
I told you I was out the game nikka!" then he leaves again.
Then on future Raws have Heyman manage Curtis Axel while cutting promos on how Punk's gonna come back soon and wreck shop. Then via satellite go to Punk's house with Colt Cobana in the background on the couch chillin' and have Punk like "
Thought I told you fukk nikkas I was out the game? Don't speak for me Paul!"
At this point Curtis starts talking shyt about Punk saying that he's the new number one Paul Heyman guy not that has been Punk and he do this for weeks then Punk will be like "
This nikka here, I'll come back at Summerslam to shut ya ass up!"
Come Summerslam, Punk vs Curtis is a 4.8 star classic, come the end of the match Punk is going for the GTS but outta nowhere Brock comes out of the crowd and F5s Punk and Curtis comes in and gets the win. Then Brock comes back and puts the kumura on Punk while Paul is like "
I loved you Punk but you never should have gone against the family" and haves Brock let go of the hold before he breaks his arm as a last good gesture of faith before he turns his back completely against Punk.
After a couple of months after a series of events since Summerslam... Punk hasen't been seen on tv since that night and we roll into Survivor Series with Brock Lesnar as the #1 Contender going against Cena for the WWE Championship. Brock wins the title and as he celebrates Punk comes back out and he brings Colt Cabana with him stating that Colt is the only person in the world he trust and he's going after Paul Heyman and the boys.
This would lead to the upcoming Royal Rumble setting up an epic Second City Saints vs the Paul Heyman Guys (Brock and Curtis) match with Heyman cheating helping Curtis to pick up the win and Brock escaping. Punk vowing revenge he later enters himself in the Royal Rumble Match and wins. Before he points at the sign he grabs the mic and says "I'm not waiting to make my decision I'm picking Brock and his WWE Title!" then he leaves the ring not even doing the usual point at the WrestleMania sign for fireworks cause he knows how corny that is.
Eventually Brock finds Colt alone backstage and F5s him though a table then breaks his arm as a warning to Punk to choose the other champion to face at WrestleMania but it just gives Punk more determination. And there you have it: a long built up feud over the WWE Championship with an actual grudge and a challenger that's actually an underdog leading up to a climax at Wrestlemania. And you also have a main event match that people are actually invested in not really sure how it's gonna end that will make you spend your money to see the finale... plus Punk can finally claim he was in the last match at a Wreslemania plus it fulfills Brock's contract with a title reign.
Am I crazy to think this is how this program should go down?
