I mean it IS Kentucky afterall ; wasn't like they could realistically get somebody big to come there. I personally would of went for Kliff Kingsbury. They need an OFFENSE there; remember how Hal Mumme had the SEC back in the day.

he's solid as D-Coordinator, sucks to lose him, but I knew he would get a head coaching job a few years after he took the job... really good with developing players in the secondary, sometimes his schemes and adjustments leave a little to be desired though

I think Kentucky needed to go after a non name who could install a good scheme and is a proven winner. Its like schools scared/too lazy to actually scout coaches

I read that we are looking at Gary Patterson and Chris Petersen. Malzahn and Petrino are on the list too. I don't expect the latter to really get any steam but who knows?
