Just watched the trailer, I probably will watch it.
It ain't touching FNL though.
FNL movie wasnt all that. It was good, but its not like the movie was on the show's level
This! I only watched the FNL movie once & never thought about it again until the show came out.
Real talk, I feel like the FNL TV show has made the movie & the book irrelevant despite the fact the movie & book are based on a true story & are critically acclaimed.

whatthe book is the best of the iterations by far. the show tops the movie in that it goes into the socioeconomic tensions of the town while the movie barely touches it. but the book is the realest - the show still has "good guys" and "bad guys", the book shows you the whole town, or at least the permian district, is fukked up
