They're doing exactly what Halloween did with Danielle Harris and Ellie Cornell. Successfully introduce new characters who could carry the franchise only to fukk it up and run back to the old head.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
They did what so many franchises have rarely ever been able to do.......Look no further than Marvel

And fuccked it all up :snoop:
This might be the first Scream film I’ve ever skipped out on because my interest in it is very low. Disappointed to see them return to Sidney Prescott after cutting Melissa Barrera and losing Jenna Ortega. Liked the new characters in 5, and it seems many fans did too judging by 6’s reception. Now, Paramount and Spyglass messed it up by getting in their feelings, forcing a return to old Sidney and this time, it’ll be even less nostalgic and entertaining because Dewey is dead and Gale will most certainly be back and I’m sure she’ll have some sort of issue with Sid (again) due to something that happened off screen (again.) I just feel like Spyglass really fukked up a good thing. Let's see how it goes, but if Scream 4's box office is a sign, maybe audiences are tired of Sid. Time will tell.
