IIRC, Williamson didn’t like Scream 3 much and wasn’t behind the script when Kincaid was introduced, so this tracks. It definitely seemed like Radio Silence was prepping for Dempsey’s return though.I read months before that Patrick Dempsey was looking forward to being in Scream 7
