That was the planThis is the only thing I wish was changed. Could've set up an insane sequel.
fukk Bruce WillisThey yoked up two cops back to back
He made that scene so unserious (In a great way)fukk Bruce Willis
They need to do a cult of ghostface they teased that in 6I always wished they would have a film that takes the copycat killing thing to the next level, they kinda teased it in the last 2 films but something bigger scale.
Concept sounds interesting. Doubt the execution would land. They couldn’t even make the three killers in the end of 6 interesting when the masks came off. They need to do a cult of ghostface they teased that in 6
4 is the best film outside the original. You should rewatch it.
Lets not get crazy now lolthe MTV series was better than that movie

We just had Five Ghostface in the last movieConcept sounds interesting. Doubt the execution would land. They couldn’t even make the three killers in the end of 6 interesting when the masks came off.
I’ll never forget the bit of Dermot Mulroney widening his eyes in an attempt to come across as intimidating during the reveal. shyt was unbelievably corny.
It was shot in 2010 and predicted the rise of vlog livestreaming, influencer culture and the absurd shyt people will do for fame in the internet age.
Social media was in its infancy at the time, which is shown in the film by the "hacker" gaining access to the girls facebook page in the opening after being blocked.
It also came out during the period where remakes such as Halloween, Friday the 13th and Elm Street were being released but weren't really doing anything new.
The film sets up Jill to be the next leading star of the franchise, the new Sidney, thru the many parallels with Sidney, which what makes the twist so good if you went in blind.
The motive itself is also my favorite from any sequel. The motive is even hinted to by the casting decisions choosing two actors who have much more successful and famous acting relatives (Julia Roberts, Mcculley).
There's a lot of smaller tidbits I could talk about like Sidneys publicist arc etc but I really just recommend you rewatch it. Watch this scene-
How many gopro shooting videos were there in 2010? How many has there been since?
Scream 4 is hated on for reasons I will never understand. Very ahead of it's time and one of the best horror sequels. Wes and Kevin cooked.
