Sup brehs, I got back into my alma mater (University of Maryland) and I'll be doing Public Policy degree there. I think it is a fantastic program and I wish I had gotten into the dual BA/MPP joint a few years ago, but I was ignorant. I start this Fall semester.
Anyway, I work full time in DC and my job don't got no tuition reimbursement program. I have to work so I can keep paying the bills for the fam and myself. A grad assistantship is literally half of my salary at this point. I was wondering though.. could someone like me who has to keep working get some other kind of assistance aside from a loan? I just don't know where to look.
Any help would be appreciated
And I'm going for a career in international development work and I'm making it my degree focus.
