a 47 inch TV is a good size. i have a 47 inch HX850 in my bedroom and i play console games on it daily and have no complaints.
what's wrong with LG? LG, Sharp, and Samsung make a bulk of TV panels. chances are what ever brand you buy the panel was made by one of those three. most Toshiba, Phillips, Vizio, and now with their new TVs Sony, and of course LG TVs use LG panels.
The tv I got now is LG and I woke up the other day and it was green.When I got off work it was ok.It went green today,but now its ok.All I do is play xbox and get on the net with it.

I walk past people homes and see a whole wall taken up by a TV
Sometimes there's no furniture, but they got a 70 inch TV in a box of a living room.

Properties seem bigger in America, so maybe it looks okay, but you gotta have quite a large room to carry off a 60 inch TV.
