A quick question for my proud net-nerd-brehs. Is there a way other than subscribing to a thread, and other than doing the crazy, copy the whole thing and paste on MS Word (which always has formatting issues), than I'm able to save threads to read at a later date?

If I'm not mistaken, if I were to subscribe to something like a 40 post thread today, it would only give me updates as to when posts are made from that period on, right? If I want to read it at a later date, I won't be able to find post 1-40 in my email, right?

The reason I'm asking this is because I find good stuff on forums that are new to me, but I can't possibly read it all right away (and my mind wouldn't be in the right frame of mind to appreciate it all any way). My mind is in "collector" mode currently.

The reason I wanna save these internet gems, rahter than just emailing myself the links, is because in the past year or so, 2 of my fave messageboards died, and now those links are useless.

Right click>view page source> file> save page as

You would have to do that for every page of the thread tho

Thanks, and by doing this, I'll be able to view it even once the forum goes extinct and there's no way to access its content through regular search engine searches.

I tried your method Lox, but it seems like its just a shortcut link back to the website. If the website were no longer to exist, I don't think it'd be able to take me to the thread.
