As much as a hurts fan I am

I was listening to the Avant&Mikell pod and avant made some good points about hurts

The league caught up to hurts game and the blueprint is out... he believes that hurts hasn't fully grasped Kellen Moore offense yet so that's why we're seeing this vanilla ass version of it.

Their pod is great. They keep it real and break shyt down. I agree Kellen just has to dumb shyt down if hurts can’t operate

kellen had dak and herbert under center at a much higher rate than he has hurts (damn near never). way too many zone reads/RPOs for my liking just like last year, motion rate fell off a cliff after week 1... something is definitely off.

1.) Sirianni - He wont run the ball. This is my #1 problem. You wanna decrease turnovers? Run the ball more.

2.) Pass rush - We can't get through up the middle and we can't take advantage of the pressure up the middle on the outside.

3.) Hurts - This guy needs to be in a training wheels offense where hes mostly handing the ball off. The fact hes not doing that is the coaches fault. But him refusing / being unable to work under center is horrible.

4.) Fangio Scheme - I wish he would bring more pressure and play press coverage. But the blitzes we have tried have mostly failed because of personnel. And playing press coverage without pass rush is impossible. I think the pass rush is a personnel problem of our edges not being able to win 1v1 match ups, sometimes against TE and RB, and thats not on Fangio.

I would be very interested to see it, paricularly in heavier situations. Just to give the QB and tackles more to think about.

I think what avant said is partially true about hurts not really knowing the verbage of the offense and also what another poster said earlier in here how vs Green Bay that's was Kellen running the offense and playcalling with the 2 rb sets with Shipley in motion

So it could be some internal fukkery between Sirianni and Moore and Jalen is stuck in the middle

thats the part that is bugging me....and yea there was no AJ and no Smitty but all they got is London (Pitts is meh) and Mooney is a decent WR
and there was a point where it was 250 yards to NOTHING!!!???

Knowing the NFC is full of fraudulent teams and just ass in general makes our ineptitude that much more frustrating.

Terrible spot to be in, in the sense that nothing short of a blowout is gonna leave anyone happy. Nick is gonna have the rac00n bags under his eyes for real on Sunday, that man ain't sleeping this week
